Located on the northeast side of the City of Waterloo, RIM Park is an extensive 500-acre multisport complex offering indoor and outdoor athletic facilities. The Manulife Financial Sportsplex features four olympic sized ice pads, one as a dedicated figure skating rink, indoor courts for basketball, volleyball, and court games, along with indoor turf soccer fields.  Outdoors, community members enjoy international-sized turf fields, four natural grass fields, and six baseball diamonds, all with night lighting, along with a sand beach volleyball court.  Amenities on the grounds provide The Healthy Living Centre, the heritage Elam Martin farmstead, The Benchwarmer sports bar, and the Grey Silo Golf Course.  This dynamic multisports complex has become a central place and space of community activities and fitness for all to enjoy.

Take a history walk on a path of the great Trans Canada Trail which stretches over 27,000 kilometres, connecting the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic oceans.   Cross country ski the trails in Bechtel Park, run through the trails of Waterloo Park, watch the birds in Westmount park and cycle the hills of Hillside Park.
